Job description

As the nation's largest beet sugar producer, American Crystal Sugar Company is committed to finding ways to continually improve. It's why we reward people who take action, work smart, and reach further.

We are seeking a motivated, self-starter to join our team at the Technical Services Center as a Microbiology Lab Intern (Part-time hours).

Duties include but are not limited to:

Media preparation, anaerobic tube counts, plate counts, sugar sampling, wastewater, and special survey samples.PCR special projects.Chemistry work including NIR, polarimeter, refractometer, etc.Other project work that may become available.The ideal student would be at least a sophomore in the microbiology, biotechnology, or biology program. Chosen candidate must have a minimum of 12 hours available per week to work. Flexible work schedule Monday - Friday between 8 am -5 pm. Training will be provided. Selection will depend on class schedule and available hours to work.
Compensation Range:
$20.00 - $20.00 /hr
