Job description

Position Overview

CT United FC is seeking a Team Operations Intern to provide hands-on support across the club's soccer and business operations, contributing to the day-to-day execution of team activities and matchday logistics. This role offers exposure to the behind-the-scenes workings of a professional soccer club and is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in sports operations, logistics, and event execution.

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. Academic credit may be available if required by your institution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete and present an assigned educational project
  • Provide broad operational support across team and matchday activities
  • Assist with matchday logistics, including venue setup, equipment coordination, and operational checklists
  • Support training day and team-related operations as needed
  • Help coordinate internal communications between operations, marketing, and game presentation staff
  • Assist with inventory management and equipment organization
  • Support travel, scheduling, and administrative needs as assigned
  • Serve as on-site operational support during home matches and club events

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a university/college program or recent graduate (required)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 30 pounds
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and matchdays
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, live-event environments
