Operations Internship - Carolina Core FC (MLS NEXT Pro)
Location: High Point, NC
Position Type: Internship (Part-Time, Paid on Game Days, For-Credit Only)
Duration: August - November 2026 (Fall 2026 Semester)
Reports to: Operations Manager/VP of Operations
Overview:
Carolina Core FC, a proud member of MLS NEXT Pro, is seeking passionate and driven individuals to join our Operations team as interns for the Fall 2026 season. This hands-on internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the fast-paced world of professional soccer operations, with hourly pay provided on matchdays.
Please Note: Applicants must be receiving college credit for this internship in order to be eligible.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of matchday and event operations
  • Help coordinate game-day staff, vendors, and volunteers
  • Organize and maintain inventory of operations supplies and gear
  • Assist the departments as needed
  • Contribute to internal planning meetings and execution of special events
  • Provide general support to the VP of Operations/Operations Manager and front office staff
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Must be currently enrolled in college and receiving credit for the internship
  • Passion for soccer and interest in sports management/operations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Customer service mindset, especially for merchandise and fan-facing duties
  • Ability to work weekends and late nights
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods of time in varying weather conditions
  • Must be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude
