Job description

The Simmons Bank Championship Presented by Stephens will take place October 26 to November 1, 2026, at Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock, AR. The tournament, which will be televised on the Golf Channel, will feature a field of the top 54 PGA TOUR Champions professionals in the Charles Schwab Cup playoffs competing for a purse of $2.3 million dollars. Benefitting various charitable organizations across Arkansas, the Simmons Bank Championship Presented by Stephens will be managed by Pro Links Sports, a nationally recognized sports marketing and event management firm that assists in running several PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions tournaments.

Position Summary:
This internship will focus on the planning and execution of the on-site course build. This candidate will work directly with the Manager of Operations and work with tournament vendors. The ideal candidate must be able to work well under pressure and in a team environment, be keen to detail, and seek gaining exposure to the PGA TOUR and entertainment industry.
Position Details:
  • Assist with the planning and execution of onsite operations
  • Provide support to strategic site-build plan and vendor timelines
  • Ensure fulfillment and inventory of tournament signage and tent plans
  • Act as secondary point of contact for vendors
  • Conduct site walk-throughs for all building events
  • Compile inventory of storage equipment and tournament assets
  • Assist tournament partners and vendors with on-site activations during tournament week
  • Aid in miscellaneous operational duties required on-course and in the tournament office
  • Act as point of contact for various onsite vendors and assist with set up needs

Qualified Applicants Must Have:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • A desire to gain experience in a professional sports and entertainment environment
  • Strong communication skills and desire to work well with others in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Flexibility and willingness to work evenings and weekends
  • Full availability during tournament week October 26 - November 1, 2026
  • Internships will run from August 24 - November 13, 2026
Eligibility:
  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree program at the time of application and throughout internship period while receiving academic credit
  • Applicants should reside near Little Rock or be willing to commute
