EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT INTERN
Skyhawks Sports — Treasure Valley, ID
Compensation: Unpaid (College credit documentation fully supported)
Bonus Opportunity: Qualify for paid coaching shifts ($15-$17/hr) once internship responsibilities are established. Internship Start Date: May 18, 2026, or sooner
Location: Treasure Valley, ID (multiple sites across the valley)
Shed Day: Every Friday 10:30 am - ~3 pm (required)

Skyhawks Sports has been building confidence, character, and life skills in kids for over 45 years. Right here in the Treasure Valley, we run programs across the Treasure Valley, serve hundreds of kids every summer, and operate one of the most dynamic youth sports programs in the region.
We need someone behind the scenes who takes pride in making sure every coach, every site, and every camp runs without a hitch. That person is you.
THIS ROLE FIRST:
Before anything else, you are our Equipment Manager. Every coach showing up to every site across the Treasure Valley is counting on you. The gear is ready because you made it ready. The bags are packed because you packed them. The shed runs because you run it.
Get this right, and we will get you on the field.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be available every Friday from 10:30 am - ~3 pm for Shed Day — this is non-negotiable Organize, maintain, and inventory sports equipment across all active programs Prepare and organize coaching equipment bags for every Summer camp site Operate and manage the equipment shed Deliver equipment to coaches at various sites across the Treasure Valley Report directly to the Area Manager for updated scheduling each week Support setup and breakdown at camps and clinics Support local community events Skyhawks participates in
EARN YOUR WAY ONTO THE FIELD:
Once your equipment responsibilities are established and running smoothly, you become eligible for paid coaching shifts at $15-$17/hr. You will coach youth athletes across core Skyhawks sports, including soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, and flag football, as well as select specialty sports. You will lead drills, encourage players, and model character on and off the field.
This is not guaranteed from day one. You earn it by doing the first job excellently.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
College students of any major are welcome to apply. We especially encourage students studying Sports Management, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or Education and Child Development.
You must be local to the Treasure Valley or Boise area AND available for Summer 2026.

  • You follow through every time. Coaches and kids are counting on the gear being ready.
  • You have reliable transportation. You will travel to the equipment shed and program sites across the valley.

May 16: Classroom Training Day (preferred) in Nampa
May 17: Field Training Day (required) at Guerber Park, Eagle
May 18: Internship Start Date, Treasure Valley
