As a Microbiology intern, you can expect to engage in a variety of hands-on laboratory tasks such as preparing and analyzing samples, performing microbial cultures, assisting with experiments, and recording data. Interns often support research initiatives, help calibrate equipment, and may participate in weekly team meetings to discuss progress. You'll also have the chance to collaborate with experienced microbiologists and other lab staff, gaining mentorship and practical insights into current industry practices. This experience is designed to build your technical skills and introduce you to the workflow and teamwork that are fundamental in a professional laboratory environment.
