Job description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Monetization Business Development team at Meta. We're specifically looking for someone with practical understanding of the Connected TV landscape and a proven track record of building relationships with key publishers in the industry.In this role, you will build global partnerships that support Meta’s Connected TV initiatives—shaping business strategy, identifying growth opportunities, and executing high-impact deals. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving partnerships from term sheet negotiations through product launches, working closely with product, engineering and other cross-functional partners.
Business Development Manager - Connected TV Responsibilities:
  • Defining, negotiating, and closing high-impact partnerships for Meta's Connected TV products
  • Building publisher relationships and signing partnership deals for Connected TV ads
  • Working closely with product and engineering teams to define priorities and identify key opportunities
  • Quarterbacking external and internal cross-functional teams when integrating products or technologies with external partners
  • Working cross-functionally with legal, marketing, finance, product, and engineering teams to negotiate deal terms, drive special projects, advocate internally for partners, and educate on industry trends

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in business development and strategic deals for Connected TV
  • Direct experience with the CTV advertising ecosystem
  • Demonstrated track record closing large, complex, multi-year agreements with executive counterparties at key publishers and adtech companies
  • Experience in working closely with product and engineering teams to define new products
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to orchestrate and complete deals, including experience working with technical and legal teams to complete new agreements
  • Experience in developing and driving business strategies and initiatives with executive stakeholders
  • Experience developing working relationships inside and outside an immediate team or partner organization

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Experience with global multi-market negotiations and partner governance
  • Background working in high-scale consumer or ads platforms
