Job description

Role Summary
Urban Outfitters is seeking a Merchandise Operations Coordinator that will support daily operational functions as it relates to the management of merchandise inventory at both direct and retail channels. This candidate will work cross functionally with Buying, Planning, Allocation, Store Ops, and Web teams to ensure availability of inventory and create a positive customer experience.
Role Responsibilities
  • Sku Maintenance.
  • Pricing execution - Markdowns and Promotional execution.
  • Backorder and Pre-Order management.
  • DC communication and follow up.
  • Manage and execute RTV's, Retickets, Price Changes, etc. in coordination w/ Planning and Allocation teams.
  • Manage DTC flags and shipping restrictions.
  • GTIN management.
  • Special projects and inventory management.
  • Coordinating time sensitive deliveries for events and seasonal setups.
  • Facilitate and assist in corrections and adjustments to invoices with Accounts Payable team.
  • Work in conjunction with Vendor Relations to manage compliance and monitor/issue chargebacks.
  • Work in synergy with Buying, Planning and Allocation teams toward common goals for the merchandise area.

Role Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and to retain information. Must be analytical and be able to comprehend how multiple systems interact.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - emphasis on Excel & Outlook
  • Excellent Time Management skills
  • High sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Productivity and prioritization skills a must.
  • Detail Oriented
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Prior experience in retail inventory software is a plus.
  • Customer Service or prior retail experience is a plus.
