The Opportunity:
LG Electronics is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior E-commerce Merchandising & Operations Manager to drive the overall strategy, planning, and execution of merchandising and operations of the Home Appliances Kitchen categories on our D2C channels. This role will ensure that the online shopping experience is compelling, intuitive, and optimized for conversion and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital merchandising, user experience, and data analytics. The candidate must be able to build strong relationships, effectively navigate ambiguity, and make decisions based on customer experience and business objectives. This role plays a key part in driving online sales performance through operational excellence, data-driven merchandising, and flawless execution of go-to-market initiatives.
Merchandising Strategy
  • Develop and implement the merchandising strategy for the home appliance kitchen categories to achieve online sales goals.`
  • Drive eCommerce sales through innovative, effective and profitable marketing/merchandising programs and strategies.
  • Align online merchandising efforts with overall company goals, seasonal demand and product launches.
  • Optimize product placement and categorization for improved discoverability and navigation.
  • Partner with Business Units to prioritize high-impact initiatives and ensure accuracy of promotional offers and site placements.

Promotions and Campaigns
  • Collaborate with ecommerce sales teams to design and execute effective online promotional campaigns and (exclusive/early) product launches to achieve revenue goals.
  • Develop sales, marketing and campaign strategies for seasonal selling programs, new product launches, etc. for the assigned categories.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions and adjust strategies to maximize ROI.

Site Operations & Process Management
  • Maintain operational trackers, SKU lists, and promotional calendars to ensure transparency and accuracy
  • Identify and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational errors.
  • Ensure compliance with all eCommerce operational policies, including data accuracy, testing, and change control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on time and error-free launch of all programs.

Data Analysis and Optimization
  • Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and web analytics to identify trends and opportunities
  • Use insights to make data-driven decisions for improving product assortments, promotions, and merchandising tactics.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to enhance conversion rates and average order value.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend actionable strategies based on data findings.
  • Work with analytics team for deeper analysis as needed.
  • Translate performance trends into data-driven recommendations that improve the overall shopping experience and business results.

Customer Experience
  • Drive continuous improvement of the path to purchase journey to increase conversion rates.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify opportunities for improvement in functionality, navigation and overall user experience.
  • Collect and analyze consumer insights to help develop the sales funnel and product roadmap that delivers a best-in-class online user experience.
  • Run test and learn initiatives to drive aggressive business goals.
  • Provide valuable market intelligence by frequently documenting and analyzing the merchandising and product strategies of best-in-class eCommerce companies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, eCommerce, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in online merchandising or related work experience.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect tactical execution to overall sales and growth objectives.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce best practices, trends and digital marketing tactics.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles, on-site search optimization, and A/B testing principals.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) and content management systems.
  • Hands-on experience using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Tableau dashboards and Excel/Sheets for reporting and analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver under pressure.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Entrepreneurial, passionate about consumer experience and savvy about managing business goals.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills & ability to work with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and comfortable presenting in large groups to.

$140,000-$175,000 USD
