YOU WILL BE:

The Manager, Merchandise Operations is responsible for leading all aspects of merchandise operations within the store, ensuring the seamless flow of product from receipt to floor while driving operational excellence across processing, merchandising, fulfillment, and back-of-house organization. You will lead and develop a high-performing team, optimize resources, and uphold standards around inventory accuracy, pricing, and event execution, while partnering closely with the selling organization to support the client experience and continuously improve efficiency and overall store performance.

YOU WILL DO:

People Development

  • Develop and Train the Merchandise Operations team

  • Manage a diverse team that is responsible for a wide range of processes.

  • Plan and strategize resources to meet deadlines

  • Oversee support functions within the location and provide leadership in support of the selling organization

Merchandise Operations

  • Achieve Operational KPI'S

  • Ensure that merchandise is received and processed in accordance with door to floor principles and that new receipts are on the floor prior to store opening

  • Ensure new receipts are merchandised to the Visual Standard

  • Oversees efficient processing of outbound merchandise (RTVs/Transfers)

  • Execute price changes and event set up

  • Ensure that back of house areas are properly organized to support selling

  • Provide oversight of fulfillment including scheduling and dashboard maintenance

Administrative

  • Maintain Inventory accuracy by regular oversight of Inventory exception reports

  • Maintain work schedules for Merchandise Operations Team

YOU WILL BRING:

  • Available to work a flexible schedule that will include nights and weekends

  • 3-5 years supervisory experience in retail environment in visual or merchandising capacity.

  • Proficiency in utilizing available technology, especiallyMicrosoft Office Suite

  • Ability to lift and carry boxes (approx. weight 25 - 50 lbs), move and maneuver rolling equipment (pallets, flatbed carts, rolling racks), climb safety ladders (approx. 6 feet)

  • Innate ability to gain ground without damaging relationships. Can be both assertive but diplomatic.

  • Drives positive outcomes through objectives & measures, while monitoring progress & results effectively. Adept at course-correcting within a fast-paced environment.

  • You inspire others with your vision and sense of purpose. You have an optimistic spirit and celebrate wins and symbols of progress to rally support behind the vision.
