Overview
To provide an exceptional guest experience. Greet guests, schedule all spa & salon appointments, confirm guest appointments, escort guests to guest lounges, handle and process cash, understand treatments, reservations, booking times, and retailing.
Responsibilities
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner, observing all safety procedures and report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
  • Be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property.
  • Be attentive to any objects, conditions, or actions that may risk accidents and/or injuries to a guest or fellow employee. Report all unsafe conditions.
  • Be courteous to all guests and fellow associates.
  • Communicate effectively with peers, management, line and front of the house employees.
  • Practice effective listening (seek to understand).
  • Performs related duties as required.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Book and schedule services for Spa & Salon appointments using Spa Soft program.
  • Answer emails sent to spa.
  • Greet all guest coming into spa and assist their necessary needs.
  • Check in guest(s) for treatments, receiving proper payment methods and efficiently doing so in high volume.
  • Maintain the waiting area: keep brochures and required forms in stock.
  • Provide general information: address guests' questions regarding spa services and policies.
  • Answer the telephone and direct calls/messages to appropriate Spa personnel or guests. Follows up on minor customer problems -i.e.,
  • Sets up and maintain required files.

Qualifications
  • Pleasant disposition and professional appearance that gives a positive image to Spa guests.
  • Must have strong customer service skills.
  • Must have strong communication skills.
  • Must have ability to implement and uphold service standards.
  • Must have ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.
  • Must have ability to interact with all associates and resort guests.
  • Must be able to effectively handle stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.

Experience, Education, & Licensure:
  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Must be able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English.
  • Previous hospitality experience preferred.
  • Forbes knowledge preferred.

Compensation
Base Pay Start Rate: $20.79/Hr. + Included in the service charge distribution
