SPA FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST| TAILWATER LODGE

Set on the scenic banks of the Salmon River, Tailwater Lodge, part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton™, offers the perfect blend of outdoor adventure and tranquil relaxation. From Orvis-endorsed fishing and shooting sports to our indoor pool, hot tub, and full-service spa, there’s something for everyone.


Tailwater Lodge Altmar, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is currently hiring a Part-Time Spa Front Desk Receptionist. This position offers approximately 10–20 hours per week (weekdays and weekends).


Job Duties: (include, but not limited to)

  • Warmly greet and assist guests with check-in, billing and check-out process
  • Receive incoming telephone calls promptly and politely, practicing proper phone etiquette
  • Explain specific spa treatments and services and advise guests in choosing the best services for them based on their needs and interests
  • Accurately book, change and cancel spa appointments
  • Be highly knowledgeable about all spa retail products and assist guests with spa retail purchases
  • Conduct tours of the spa facilities for potential guests when requested by management
  • Possess a thorough sales knowledge of all spa services, rates and retail product costs
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of general facility programs and services, and be able to explain them to guests
  • Make reminder phone calls to guests about their appointments as requested
  • Regularly check the relaxation lounge and locker rooms for areas that will need tidying up
  • Assist guests with special requests and provide hospitality services as directed, such as water, tea service, etc.
  • Accurately promote and provide detailed descriptions of retail products, sales and special promotions
  • Follow-up on product sales recommendations by estheticians and therapists and sell retail products to interested guests at reception desk
  • Keep Spa Reception Desk and lobby reception areas immaculate
  • Must have open availability, including weekends
  • Protect the privacy of all guests and handle with discretion any information they may provide to the spa
  • Maintain a presence of calm composure, even in the most stressful situations
  • Work diligently to support the Tailwater Spa hospitality and team philosophy throughout the facility
  • Comply with all departmental and company policies
  • Maintain personal appearance and grooming standards consistent with the management’s standards
  • Maintain accurate Tailwater Spa information through daily use of email and other forms of communication

Qualifications:

  • Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills
  • Must be Warm, enthusiastic and hospitable personal manner
  • Good organizational skills and detail orientation
  • Previous experience in working with the public both in person and by telephone
  • Confidence and experience in dealing with guest relations and complaints
