Job Title Asst Manager, Media - Vichy and Medical

What you will learn:
This role will be hyper focused on three main areas: strategic planning, measurement and insights, and budget management. This role will support the activation and launch of all media channels including streaming video, social, programmatic, publisher partners, search, and affiliate. The candidate will manage all media campaigns and will act as the hub between all cross functional teams, including the site team (digital solutions), eComm, CRM, social media (owned), PR and influencer (earned), content, marketing teams (local and global), agency of records, and corporate teams. The assistant manager will report directly into the media lead of La Roche-Posay, Vichy, and Medical.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Assist in Managing Strategic Planning
    1. Help to support the planning, implementation, execution and reporting of media campaigns across paid media channels and across the full funnel
    2. Work closely with marketing teams to ensure comprehensive briefing of brand short-term and long-term goals
    3. Develop deep knowledge of brands to become expert on the business
    4. Help to manage agency relationship to help deliver annual channel mix recommendation and quarterly tactical plans
    5. Help to manage the agency planning and HOK social and search teams, as well as corporate programmatic teams, on all brand go to market strategies
    6. Collaborate with data and CRM partners to leverage 1P data for more efficient consumer targeting
    7. Coordinate affiliate marketing campaigns with strategic partners, working closely with D2C teams on updating campaigns with weekly promos
    8. Help to form strategic partnerships with publishers and other media partners to keep tabs on new opportunities
    9. Be vigilant with auditing creative assets before going into market, working closely with corporate teams on best practices, and all cross functional teams on timely delivery of assets built to spec
  • Assist in Managing Measurement and Insights Program
    1. Work closely with agency and internal teams to share out on regular competitive reporting, including traditional (TV and print) and digital (video, display, social and search)
    2. Work closely with analytics team to share out monthly reporting on all transactional media supporting D2C sales, collaborating independently with ecommerce teams on reporting during key promotional periods
    3. Help to manage reporting on all brand lift programs, work closely with relevant teams to build out and report on programs leveraging social partner's homegrown tools, as well as third party vendors (e.g. Kantar) for display and video campaigns
  • Assist in Managing Media Budget
    1. Help to oversee budgets across tactics and work closely with agency and internal teams to manage monthly pacing and RAF flighting
    2. Work closely with finance and brand controllers to manage Pure Media spends in P&L
    3. Liaise closely with leadership on approving monthly roll up of budgets
