Job description

Surgery Coordinator

This position is responsible for coordinating surgery schedules, authorizations, administrative/clerical support and all other front office duties to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include scheduling and obtaining prior authorizations for procedures, coordinating with hospitals, surgeons, and patients, processing referrals, and insurance verification. In addition, the role serves as a clinic secretary by handling patient communication, answering phones, managing medical records, and supporting front-desk tasks as needed.
