About Position:
  • Work Location: Moncure CHC - 7228 Moncure-Pittsboro Road, Moncure, NC 27559
  • Schedule: Monday 8:00am - 5:00pm, Tuesday: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Wednesday: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Thursday: 8:00am - 8:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm

Job Duties -The Medical Records Coordinator is responsible for assisting with managing, organizing, and maintaining all PHS patient medical records. In addition, this individual will respond to requests for medical records from healthcare providers, patients, or legal entities, ensuring timely and accurate retrieval. They will ensure that patient records are handled in accordance with privacy laws, such as HIPAA. They will also track the release of information and support the healthcare team in managing patient data efficiently and securely.
Qualifications -
Education: High school diploma. Associates Degree preferred in related field
Current/valid License: none
Experience:
  • Internal and External application are accepted
  • External Applicants must have a minimum of 2-years' experience in medical office administration and or referral management
  • Internal Applicant must be on the job at least 1 year with no documented performance issues with in the last year.
  • Excellent communication skills required.

Pay Range: $17.66 - $23.74
