Job description

Medical Receptionist Float

As a Medical Receptionist Float, you will be required to work at several clinics within the Atlanta market. This is an outpatient clinic setting. You will report to the Associate Operations Director.

Note: This is a Float position that requires you to work at different clinics within the market.

  • Operates a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintains long distance call logs.
  • Greets visitors and determines the nature of their visit, issues visitor passes and maintains visitor logs, alerts appropriate party of visitor arrival or directs visitors to appropriate office, department or employee.
  • Additional responsibilities may include miscellaneous administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, receiving and sending courier packages.
  • This role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of medical reception experience
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Value-based care model experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM -5:00 PM

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Pay Range: $38,000 - $45,800 per year
