We are seeking a the right person for our Medical Office Front Desk to become a part of our team at our Alpharetta office.
Position Summary
This position is specifically responsible for assisting patients at the conclusion of their visit. This role ensures accurate billing, collects payments, schedules follow-up appointments, and provides excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients at checkout in a friendly and professional manner
  • Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances
  • Verify and update patient insurance and demographic information
  • Schedule follow-up appointments, referrals, or diagnostic tests
  • Provide patients with visit summaries and instructions
  • Enter and update information in electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Handle billing questions and direct complex issues to billing specialists
  • Process receipts and maintain accurate financial records
  • Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (like HIPAA)
  • Coordinate with medical staff and front desk team to ensure smooth workflow
  • Prepare paperwork for next day patients
  • Assist Check In as needed
