The Front Desk Check-In Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors at the surgery center. This role is responsible for ensuring a professional, welcoming, and efficient check-in experience while maintaining accuracy in patient information, insurance verification, and documentation. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent customer service, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Check-In & Customer Service

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional, courteous, and compassionate manner
  • Verify patient identity, demographics, and appointment details
  • Ensure all required forms and consents are completed accurately prior to procedures
  • Provide clear instructions regarding check-in, wait times, and next steps

Registration & Documentation

  • Scan, upload, and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health system
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards

Insurance & Financial Coordination
