Job description

Prestige Staffing is searching for a Spanish/English speaking Medical Front Office Specialist for a busy medical office to work between two locations - Suwanee & Lawrenceville. Schedule is published a month at a time and may change if someone calls out. This position has the potential to go temp to perm for the right person. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service skills and the ability to multi-task. We are seeking someone who can also speak Spanish to help with the phone calls coming in form a lot of the population we serve. 

Details:
$17/hr. based on experience
M-F
Hours  M-F rotating between 730am -430pm, 8am -5pm and 830am – 5:30
Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in EMR & Epic would be a plus

  • Knowledge of healthcare insurance
  • Must be bilingual Spanish & English
  • Must have at least 2 years experience working in a physician practice environment preferably at the front desk

  • Must have strong data entry and typing skills

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • Must have a stable work history

  • Excellent professional references

Day-to-day duties include but not limited to:

  • Check-in and check-out
  • Gathering insurance and demographic information from patients
  • Answering a busy multi-line phone system
  • Processing referrals and verifying insurance
  • Pulling charts and filing
