Medical Front Office Receptionist

Location: Hamilton Dermatology - Alpharetta, Georgia
Employment Type: Full-Time


Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Medical Front Office Receptionist to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing front office operations efficiently and accurately.


Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
  • Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
  • Check patients in and out for appointments.
  • Collect copays and process payments.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Manage incoming faxes, mail, and other correspondence.
  • Assist patients with forms and general inquiries.
  • Ensure the reception area remains clean, welcoming, and organized.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.


Qualifications
