Job description

Safecare Medical Center is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a busy primary care physicians office in the South Broward area.
Applicants must be proficient in phlebotomy and one year of experience (preferred). Familiarity with electronic medical records is a plus.


Position: Medical Assistant assigned to a Physician (Bilingual preferred)
Job Summary:

  • Performs selected nursing and clerical duties to assist in patient care management; these duties are delegated to the degree of training by the objectives and policies of this organization.
  • Qualifications:
  • Current Medical Assistant certification, CPR certification, and OSHA certification.
  • Must possess good organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written in the English language. MANDARIN OR SPANISH preferred
  • Ability to perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and office laboratory procedures.
  • Ability to administer injections.
