Role Overview

The Café and Office Specialist is the primary curator of the visitor experience at our facility. This dual-function role provides critical backup to the Office Manager for front-desk operations while owning the site’s specialty hospitality program. You will be responsible for crafting premium beverages—including espresso-based drinks and artisanal Italian sodas—while managing a selection of light refreshments that reflect our company’s commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:


Front Office & Reception Redundancy

  • Office Manager Backup: Provide seamless coverage for the front desk during the Office Manager’s breaks, lunches, and absences.
  • Communication Lead: Manage the main facility phone line, routing customer inquiries, sales calls, and vendor requests with professional etiquette.
  • Visitor Security: Greet all visitors and ensure they complete necessary safety check-ins, including PPE distribution and NDA signatures, before entering the manufacturing zones.

Specialty Beverage & Hospitality Service

  • The "Cafe" Experience: Operate the on-site beverage station to provide a diverse menu of professional-grade drinks, including espresso-based coffee (lattes, cappuccinos), artisan Italian sodas, and seasonal refreshments and snacks for guests and staff.
  • Menu Execution & Quality: Maintain a high standard for drink presentation and flavor consistency, ensuring every beverage—from a morning pour-over to a afternoon sparkling soda—is crafted to a premium standard.
  • Hospitality Stewardship: Maintain a "tour-ready" aesthetic in the lobby and beverage areas, ensuring the environment reflects the precision and cleanliness of our manufacturing standards.
  • Supply Chain & Inventory: Monitor and manage the ordering of coffee beans, flavored syrups, carbonated water, and dairy/alternatives and other hospitality needs to ensure the station is fully stocked.

Site Visit & Meeting Logistics

  • Meeting Preparation: Assist in setting up conference rooms for site visits, ensuring all technological needs are met and refreshments are staged.
  • Visitor Experience: Work alongside the Office Manager to coordinate the logistics of client tours, acting as a hospitality liaison to ensure a smooth transition between the lobby and the production floor.

Schedule

  • Hours: Open to both Full-Time (40 hours/week) and Part-Time (25–35 hours/week) applicants.
  • Availability: Must be available during core business hours (typically 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM for part-time) to support peak visitor arrivals and the morning beverage service.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
