Koniag Operations Services, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Enterprise Resource Planning Specialist (ERPS) with a TS/SCI Security clearance to support KOS and our government customer in Arlington, VA. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

Koniag Operations Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Resource Planning Specialist to join our team supporting Maintenance and Operations of facilities and buildings in Arlington, VA. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with deep expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning systems, particularly Maximo, and a strong background in managing large-scale, multi-site preventive maintenance and repair portfolios.
The Enterprise Resource Planning Specialist will serve as the O&M Contractor's Maximo subject matter expert and primary point of contact with Client leadership for all matters involving Maximo. The specialist will play a critical role in the management and accuracy of asset data, preventive maintenance scheduling, and the overall integrity of the ERP system as it relates to facilities operations and maintenance.
Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Serve as the primary Maximo subject matter expert and point of contact for Client leadership on all ERP-related matters.
  • Interact with client and Client subject matter experts in meetings and correspondence to gather maintenance information and coordinate the development of O&M business practices.
  • Assist with Maximo user support, including training and guidance for staff utilizing the system.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of asset data with established data standards.
  • Ensure new assets are successfully created in Maximo following commissioning, along with appropriate Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules.
  • Create PMs and routes to meet warranty requirements and equipment manufacturer recommendations.
  • Ensure PM workload is balanced across the portfolio to support efficient scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Manage a large preventive maintenance and repair portfolio spanning multiple sites, buildings, and facilities.
  • Monitor and inspect system data to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and maintain overall data integrity.
  • Coordinate with Client leadership in the ongoing development and refinement of O&M business practices within the Maximo environment.
  • Maintain annual continuing education certifications related to the Maximo system.
  • Generate reports and provide data analysis to support leadership decision-making related to facilities maintenance.

Education and Experience:
Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning systems, such as IBM Maximo, in support of Maintenance and Operations of facilities and buildings.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a large preventive maintenance and repair portfolio across multi-site, multi-building, or multi-facility environments.
  • Valid Maximo system training certificate.
  • Annual continuing education certificates related to the Maximo system.

Clearance Requirement:
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance

Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Demonstrated expertise in IBM Maximo or equivalent ERP systems as applied to facilities maintenance and operations.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution across complex, multi-site portfolios.
  • Proficiency in asset data management, including data entry, validation, and compliance with data standards.
  • Ability to create and manage Preventive Maintenance (PM) records and routes in alignment with warranty and equipment manufacturer recommendations.
  • Experience coordinating with government clients or stakeholders, gathering requirements, and translating them into actionable ERP configurations and workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify data discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral, with the ability to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience providing end-user support, including training and troubleshooting within ERP systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) Clearance.

Desired Skills and Competencies:
  • Experience working in a federal government facilities management or O&M contracting environment.
  • Familiarity with Federal facilities operations and maintenance standards and practices.
  • Knowledge of facilities management best practices, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems.
  • Experience with work order management, inventory control, and procurement modules within Maximo.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools and data analytics platforms used in conjunction with ERP systems.
  • IBM Maximo Administrator or equivalent ERP system certification.
  • Experience supporting large-scale government contracts in a facilities management context.
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as APPA, ASHRAE, or similar facilities management guidelines.
