Job Summary:
IBM Consulting is a leader in enterprise transformation, collaborating with companies worldwide to drive impactful change. They are seeking a seasoned Maximo Technical Lead Consultant to provide technical leadership and guide the implementation of Maximo solutions for complex enterprise environments.
Responsibilities:
• Lead end‑to‑end architecture and technical delivery of IBM Maximo solutions, ensuring alignment with client business goals.
• Oversee Maximo configuration, customization, integrations, workflows, reporting, and performance tuning.
• Guide cross‑functional delivery teams, providing mentorship, code reviews, and best‑practice governance.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical designs and implementation plans.
• Lead integration efforts with enterprise systems such as ERP platforms, IoT solutions, SAP, Workday and Oracle using the Maximo Integration Framework.
• Manage Maximo upgrades, migrations, patches, and cloud or on‑premises deployments.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, provide root‑cause analysis, and ensure system stability and security.
• Maintain design documentation and contribute to technical standards and solution accelerators.
• Stay current on Maximo advancements, emerging technologies, and industry trends to guide clients on modernization and innovation.
Qualifications:
Required:
• At least 7 years of hands‑on experience with IBM Maximo (7.x or later), including 3 or more years in a technical lead or architect role.
• Deep proficiency in Maximo configuration tools, Java‑based customizations, MBOs, and Maximo Integration Framework.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
• Experience deploying Maximo in cloud or hybrid environments.
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable, secure enterprise Maximo architectures.
• Proven leadership in guiding teams and delivering complex solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred:
• IBM Maximo professional certifications.
• Experience in industries such as utilities, oil and gas, transportation, or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Maximo Anywhere, Maximo Spatial, or Linear Asset Management.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or JavaScript and with REST/SOAP APIs.
