We are a 3rd party company, or broker, where we connect customer needs with carrier solutions. We specialize in vans, flatbeds, containers, warehousing, LTL, heavy haul, and specialized services. Where there is a need, we have a solution.

As an Inside Sales Representative you will focus on expanding Mavericks current customer base by helping customers move their product in the most cost-effective way possible. You will have the opportunity to sell Mavericks services to the customer, but to also continually service those customers ever-growing transportation needs. Being team-centric, yet individually driven will be essential to your success.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, and emails
  • Understand customer needs/requirements and provide them with top notch solutions
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Grow and develop accounts to their highest potential through strong customer relationships and referrals
  • Partner with operations leaders to ensure your customers are provided with outstanding service
  • Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments within the logistics industry

Requirements:

  • Strong negotiation skills persuasiveness, aggressiveness, confidence
  • Self-driven with a desire to succeed

  • Prior sales, operations or customer service experience preferred

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, supply chain, transportation and logistics or similar field is a plus
  • 2 years experience or more in a sales role required
