The Mavericks Performance & Training Center serves as the primary training, practice, performance, and hospitality facility for the Dallas Mavericks NBA organization. Designed to support elite athletic performance and world-class hospitality operations, the facility combines premium amenities, elevated food-and-beverage experiences, and a culture centered on professionalism, teamwork, discipline, and excellence.

The hospitality operation supports players, coaches, executives, corporate partners, VIP guests, and special events throughout the year. Operating in a dynamic, high-performance environment, the Mavericks Performance & Training Center seeks team members who take pride in cleanliness, organization, and supporting exceptional hospitality experiences.

Position Summary

The Dishwasher plays a critical role in supporting culinary operations by maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and operational readiness of all kitchen equipment, service ware, and back-of-house areas.

This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment while ensuring compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards. The Dishwasher supports the culinary team by maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment that allows the operation to perform at the highest level.

The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and experienced in high-volume kitchen environments where speed, cleanliness, and organization are essential to success.

Core Responsibilities:Dishwashing & Sanitation

  • Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure all items are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health department and company standards.
  • Maintain continuous availability of clean service ware and kitchen equipment during operating hours.
  • Inspect cleaned items to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are consistently met.
  • Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals according to company and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Monitor dishwashing equipment and report maintenance concerns immediately.

Kitchen Cleanliness & Organization

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout all kitchen and back-of-house areas.
  • Clean floors, drains, walls, shelving, dish areas, equipment, and workstations.
  • Remove trash, recycling, and waste materials from operational areas.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of walk-in coolers, freezers, storage rooms, and dishwashing stations.
  • Assist with daily, weekly, and deep-cleaning assignments.
  • Ensure all kitchen support areas remain clean, safe, and organized.

Operational Support

  • Assist culinary team members with kitchen support duties as assigned.
  • Transport clean equipment, dishes, and supplies to designated operational areas.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries when needed.
  • Support the setup and breakdown of hospitality functions, events, and operational activities.
  • Maintain organization of storage areas and equipment rooms.
  • Support overall kitchen readiness and operational efficiency.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and operational procedures.
  • Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Report maintenance, equipment, or safety concerns immediately.
  • Support compliance with local health department regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain a safe and professional work environment at all times.

  • Strong understanding of sanitation procedures, chemical handling, and workplace safety practices.
  • Ability to maintain organization and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to cleanliness and operational excellence.
