POSITION SUMMARY
The Dallas Mavericks are looking for a visionary Graphic Designer to join our team and help drive trendsetting visual storytelling across the organization — from on-court game presentation and in-arena graphics to off-court marketing, community, and social/digital content.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Creates trendsetting art and design pieces spanning on-court game presentation and off-court social, digital, and marketing channels.
  • Builds the look and feel for repeatable branded campaigns and packages concepts for delivery to partners.
  • Collaborates with social and marketing teams to present a unified brand look.
  • Partners closely with the Creative team to help tell the organization’s ongoing story.
  • Works with creative leadership to extend and update brand style guides for the social and digital space.
  • Participates in ideation and development for asset refreshes and new program creation.
  • Delivers branded and sponsored assets on deadline per the posting schedule.
  • Supports the Creative team with a unified artistic vision across deliverables.
  • Serves as artistic lead on seasonal and campaign-based content.
  • Stays current with technology upgrades and industry advancements.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 3 years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Experience working with creative and social/marketing teams.
  • Experience building brand toolkits and style guides.
  • Experience creating and managing branded or sponsored campaigns.
  • Strong artistic vision and instinct.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Some animation skill preferred.
  • Previous experience in sports, entertainment, or another fast-paced brand environment preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, with the willingness to help others and the humility to ask for help when needed.
