EXO Talent Partners is running a confidential retained search for a Material Program Manager (Supply Chain) with an established defense manufacturer in Central Florida. The role supports a major, fully funded production program and sits at the center of how material gets planned, sourced, and delivered against cost and schedule.

Own the material and supply chain strategy for a major, fully funded defense production program. This is a high-visibility seat at an established Central Florida defense manufacturer, filled through a confidential retained search by EXO Talent Partners.

If you are a material program manager or supply chain program manager who wants a flagship program, real executive visibility, and a stable, well-funded home, this one is worth a look.

Why this role

  • A major production program with funding already in place
  • A seat at the center of it, owning how material gets planned, sourced, and delivered against cost and schedule
  • Direct exposure to senior leadership and a clear platform to prove program-level supply chain leadership
  • A stable employer actively investing in its team
  • Competitive base, incentive bonus, and relocation support for the right person

What you will own

  • Material program strategy from proposal through execution and closeout
  • Sourcing plans, supplier relationships, and material cost and schedule performance
  • Earned value tracking and estimate-at-completion for your program
  • Supplier performance, risk mitigation, and make/buy decisions
  • Material inputs to proposals and pricing
  • Coordination with planning to keep the production line fed

What we are looking for

  • Several years in material program management, supply chain program management, or program management within defense, aerospace, or another regulated manufacturing environment
  • Command of program material planning, supplier management, and earned value (EVM) concepts
  • Comfort leading cross-functionally without direct authority and holding your own with senior leadership
  • Familiarity with government contracting and customer flowdown requirements
  • Strong communication and executive presence
  • Bachelor's degree
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to hold a U.S. government security clearance

Nice to have

  • Program or material management certification such as PMP or APICS CPIM
  • Hands-on earned value management experience
  • A background supporting complex hardware programs
