Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Materials Management Partner to work on-site with our client, a global aerospace and defense company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
This role coordinates incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products and parts that include functions such as warehousing, shop and delivery services to ensure material availability and delivery when needed to meet production schedules. The Materials Management Partner II compiles data on order volume, production schedules and forecasts and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements.
*We are on a 9/80 schedule (9 hour days Monday - Thursday, alternating Fridays off, opposite Fridays 8 hour days). This is a full-time on-site position. This role will start out as a temporary position with the option of the candidate applying to become a regular full-time GD-OTS employee after 90 days.
Responsibilities:
  • Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures.
  • Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units.
  • Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards.
  • May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels.
  • Keeps daily assembly production records.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED, Associates degree preferred
  • 3 years Preferred comparable experience
  • General knowledge of assembly, calibration, component installation, soldering, troubleshooting, and functional testing.
  • Ability to lift/move heavy objects.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  • Organizational skills
  • Clerical skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Government Security Clearance
