Overview

Join our team of dedicated professionals who provide services and operational support to award winning hospitals through roles in supply chain, IT and cybersecurity, clinical engineering, capital procurement, medical coding, project management and more. We provide services to clinically excellent community hospitals across the country that are dedicated to ensuring quality, compassionate care for every patient, every time. ย 

Responsibilities

Directs hospital wide purchasing and Material Management functions with responsibilities for hospital purchasing, inventory control, material systems and financial controls. The Manager of Materials provides professional support in the areas of supply processing, distribution, purchasing, receiving and inventory management.ย  The primary objective is to manage and control the flow of supplies and equipment from acquisition to disposition.ย  Areas of emphasis include supply and capital budgets, inventory control, asset management and adherence to organizational and GPO contracts for supplies and equipment. Responsible for department budget adherence and requisite review and analysis of departmental operations reports.ย  The Manager is also responsible for the attendance and participation in designated hospital committees. Assures that department operations adhere to guidelines per the state, accreditation agencies and all other agencies.

  • Minimum of five years management experience in Material Management in an acute care facility preferred.ย 
  • Bachelor's degree or sufficient equivalent experience in Materials Management.
  • Must be computer literate and have working experience using software used in Materials Management.
  • Effective negotiation skills and analytical ability.
