As our Materials Management Manager, you will help the Materials Management team so they can contribute to the seamless fulfillment of daily materials management operations, driving efficient and cost-effective flow of medical supplies and equipment. Your leadership maintains inventory integrity, supports clinical departments, and upholds sanitation standards.
Every day you will manage and mentor the Materials Tech team, ensuring adherence to procedures for disinfection, receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering supplies. You will be expected to oversee inventory control, troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and collaborate with staff to meet supply needs for patient care.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong leadership, team management, and in-depth knowledge of healthcare materials management, inventory control, and supply chain logistics. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and a commitment to efficiency, accuracy, and compliance are essential.

  • Responsible for management of warehouse, receiving, par management, inventory management, mailroom and print shop.
  • Manages supplier relationships and ensures supplier compliance in terms of Vendormate, contracts and other facility specific requirements.
  • Coordinates product conversions with clinical leadership, other major stakeholders and ensures that product master files are updated.
  • Coordinates and negotiates local contracts with suppliers in order to ensure best pricing, delivery and other related terms and conditions

Required

  • Bachelors Degree 
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Materials Management or Accounts Payable within a healthcare organization
  • Three (3) years of experience in invoice resolution working with requisitioners, vendors and Accounts Payable
