Position: Supervisor - Materials Distribution
Location: Robbinsdale, MN
Duration: 10 weeks with possible extensions
Shift: Days 8x5,
Shift notes: 40 Hour Guarantee
Weekend Requirements: Occasional Weekends
On Call Requirements: Possible Off Premise Call
Position Summary:
The Supervisor, Materials Distribution is responsible for directing day-to-day activities including the coordination and direct supervision of the Distribution staff to perform the functions of Inventory Control, Distribution, Quality Control, and Inventory Safety. Leads operational and inventory improvements as directed by the Inventory Planning Manager or other Materials Management leadership. Plans and directs maintenance of the inventory in the Dispensing inventory locations.

Achieves key patient care, financial and/or operational outcomes as found in annual work plan.
Leverages and adheres to systems and processes that drive accountability for patient care, financial and operational outcomes.
Works effectively with team colleagues and other key partners to execute divisional and/or departmental initiatives and day-to-day operations.

Staffs, organizes and schedules the team to leverage maximum labor productivity.

Submission Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent (GED)- Required
Two (2) years of post high school education or equivalent - Preferred
Minimum three (3) years' supervisory experience in Materials Distribution - Required
Oracle ERP experience - Required
Working knowledge of Materials Management principles and practices - Required
Production experience on a fast paced production line - Required
Experience working with hand-held devices - Required
Leadership training or experience - Preferred
Medical terminology education - Preferred
Experience in a hospital setting - Preferred
