Job Description Summary

Interact with Materials Specialist Team Leader to assess customer production shipment requirements and provide needed information and direction for the purpose of assisting the Materials Specialist Team Leader to meet the Customer's expectations at levels of productivity that meet or exceed the established plan.

REPORTS TO

Directly to Materials Specialist Team Leader and SCM Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinates the implementation and continuous improvement of our customer production shipments. Manages activities relating to receiving, handling, packaging, preservation and storage of customer-supplied dunnage, raw materials, tooling, and miscellaneous mail packages. Manages activities relating to handling, packaging, preservation and storage of OK to SHIP product and shipping/receiving documentation. Coordinate and maintain dock audit records of packaging and bar-code labeling for OK to SHIP products and PPAP products. In-directly coordinates which product is Final Audited.

6) In addition to the above responsibilities, this position is responsible for other tasks

as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum two (2) years' experience in Materials and/or directing the materials function is preferred
  • A working knowledge of Windows Microsoft operating systems and QAD. Also knowledgeable in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
