Job Summary

Aretum is seeking a Cyber Partner Coordinator Manager to lead stakeholder engagement and coordination efforts that strengthen collaboration between government, industry, and other partners to support national cybersecurity planning and defense. This role combines strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, research, analysis, and team leadership to develop effective partnerships and high-quality products that address complex cybersecurity challenges.

This position will serve as a trusted coordination and consulting resource, helping facilitate stakeholder relationships, manage initiatives and deliverables, and translate complex cybersecurity and program information into clear, executive-level communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate a team of program analysts, managers, and subject matter experts supporting clients on nationally significant cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government, industry, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international stakeholders through structured engagement strategies and collaborative initiatives.
  • Plan and lead stakeholder engagements, meetings, workshops, and working sessions; facilitate discussions, gather information, and develop recommendations that address client and partner needs.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research and analysis to identify trends, assess stakeholder feedback, evaluate engagement effectiveness, and inform project strategies and recommendations.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality project products, including strategic plans, assessments, reports, presentations, briefing materials, talking points, fact sheets, and white papers, while managing multiple milestones and deliverables.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree and 10-15 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals from a technical, policy, or combined perspective.
  • Experience working with state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) organizations, including state or municipal governments, regional associations, or similar public-sector organizations.
  • Experience managing relationships with industry stakeholders and external partners.
  • Experience working with cybersecurity industry partners or organizations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience developing executive-level deliverables, presentations, reports, briefings, and other professional written products.
  • Experience coordinating and managing projects, deliverables, timelines, and competing priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, organization, and general management skills.
  • Demonstrated consulting skills, including the ability to assess stakeholder needs, synthesize information, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to work effectively across technical, policy, program, and executive stakeholder groups.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain DHS suitability.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Ability to understand and communicate cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop polished, concise, and executive-ready deliverables.
  • Strong analytical, consulting, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, attention to detail, and responsiveness.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting DHS, CISA, or another federal cybersecurity organization.
  • Familiarity with DHS/CISA organizational structures, mission areas, stakeholder engagement processes, and operating environment.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity-focused federal programs or initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating partnerships involving federal, SLTT, and private-sector organizations.
  • Project management experience in a federal consulting or government contracting environment.

Travel Requirements

  • This is a hybrid position, with work performed both remotely and at designated client or corporate locations, as needed.ย Travel requirements may vary depending on project assignments, client meetings, or internal collaboration and will be communicated in advance whenever possible.ย
