Job Overview
The Material Planner is responsible for supporting material planning, inventory tracking, warehouse coordination, and procurement follow-up for semiconductor and high-tech construction projects. This role works closely with project teams, warehouse personnel, procurement, suppliers, and site stakeholders to ensure materials are properly identified, tracked, received, stored, and available when needed for project execution.

General Responsibilities

  • Identify material specifications, bill of materials (BOM), and project material requirements.
  • Support warehouse and supply chain teams with inventory planning and material control.
  • Track domestic and international purchases, shipments, delivery status, and material availability.
  • Perform material stocking, receiving support, and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and traceability.
  • Coordinate with warehouse supervisors to maintain proper material records and storage organization.
  • Monitor material shortages, excess inventory, and delivery risks.
  • Communicate material status updates to project, procurement, warehouse, and construction teams.
  • Support project planning by ensuring required materials are available according to schedule.
  • Maintain accurate material tracking reports, inventory records, and project documentation.
  • Assist with resolving material discrepancies, delivery issues, and documentation gaps.

Qualifications

  • Experience in supply chain, material planning, inventory control, warehouse coordination, or related field.
  • Ability to identify and track material specifications, BOMs, and project material requirements.
  • Experience supporting domestic and/or international purchasing and material tracking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic PC applications.
