Leidos' Defense Systems is seeking a Material Control Analyst to join our Platform Integration team in Huntsville, Alabama. Primary Responsibilities
  • Process incoming hardware and raw material for Inventory.
  • Create labeling to identify material receipts.
  • Perform inventory control tasks within DELTEK Costpoint management system.
  • Process incoming and outgoing subcontract materials and assemblies.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Production Control Planners.
  • Move materials between an Inventory Management Warehouse and Production Floor using a fork-lift or pallet jack.
  • Maintain an Inventory Bin System to store materials.

Basic Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working in the Manufacturing industry or relevant Inventory experience.
  • Candidate must be able to routinely lift objects up to 35-45 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Inventory Control with knowledge of Hazmat and Shipping/Receiving functions.
  • The preferred candidate will have 2 years of applicable working experience working in the Manufacturing industry or relevant Inventory experience.
  • Experience using DELTEK Costpoint, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft office Suite (Word, Excel, and Microsoft outlook).
