We have an opportunity for an MCL Quality Assurance Subject Matter Expert to be based onsite in Columbus, GA.
What you will do:
  • Work and manage Resamples/Retests to free product for downstream operations, tracking cell commitments, and communication with teams about schedules, throughput and delivery.
  • Create and maintain new trackers such as MCL Priority Tracker and Resamples/ Retest Tracker that improved cross-team communication, prioritization, and task delegation.
  • Ability to work with materials, operations, and quality teams. Take part in planning, execution, and reporting of area goals and execution.
  • Consolidate priorities from different teams and ensure Production Control is locating and moving integrals/specimens to the correct operation and in the correct queue.
  • Work closely with Heat Closure Team, planning, quality, and logistics teams to proactively identify potential delivery issues.
  • Manage cutups/ mechanical testing to ensure we get to and maintain a 15-day turnaround time.
  • Manage cutups to ensure they are complete prior to the associated hardware being shipped downstream.
  • Part flow transformation in lean/CORE environment, working to streamline flow, visual incoming/outgoing and milk run schedules.
  • Monitor and manage performance to ensure on-time delivery of materials, components, or products.
  • Develop and implement delivery assurance plans and recovery strategies when schedules are at risk.
  • Assist in coordinating vendor assist for mechanical testing. Work with the internal team to ensure we are to plan, and delivery time are met.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for delivery delays and collaborate with suppliers to drive corrective actions.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of delivery processes, tools, and systems.
  • Manage weekly delivery plans.
  • Escalate critical delivery issues to leadership with appropriate action plans.
  • This shift is weekend Days 7AM - 7PM Friday - Sunday.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • High School Diploma Or GED is required
  • 2 year degree or certificate program (Engineering or Materials Science preferred) with 4 years of experience in a relatable area such as quality manufacturing or inspection OR 6+ years of experience in a relatable area, without a degree
  • Proficient in MS Excel, UGA, SAP, etc
