Job DetailsWhat You'll Do
  • Own and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on customer demand, capacity, materials, and production requirements.
  • Establish production and delivery dates for incoming customer orders.
  • Create and release work orders through the company's ERP/MRP system.
  • Update production schedules daily as orders, priorities, and operating conditions change.
  • Maintain a rolling 3-month production plan and support forecasting and demand analysis.
  • Track orders throughout the manufacturing process and identify potential schedule or delivery risks before they become problems.
  • Monitor production stage gates and work closely with Production to keep orders moving.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain to understand material availability and its impact on production timing.
  • Balance expedited and rush orders against existing production commitments and available capacity.
  • Identify bottlenecks, communicate risks, and help drive solutions across departments.
  • Partner closely with Production, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Account Management, and leadership.
  • Help drive exceptional on-time delivery performance and reliable customer commitments.
What We're Looking For
  • 1+ years of production planning, master scheduling, supply planning, demand planning, or related manufacturing planning experience.
  • Hands-on experience working with an ERP/MRP system; Oracle experience is especially valuable.
  • Experience building, maintaining, or working directly with a Master Production Schedule (MPS).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing schedules, work orders, inventory/material availability, and customer demand.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities, production constraints, and competing customer requirements.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with forecasting and planning data.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across Production, Supply Chain, Operations, and customer-facing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required for the right experience.
Especially Interesting
  • Experience in nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, food manufacturing, health & wellness products, or another regulated manufacturing environment would be a major plus.
