Description

Who We Are

White Lodging develops and operates a portfolio of award-winning premium hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants in some of the country's most dynamic cities. We know that the hospitality business, like life, is about how you make people feel. That's where you come in. You'll help bring the virtue of hospitality to life while we create an environment that allows you to be your best self and grow.

Courtyard by Marriott Austin Downtown and Residence Inn by Marriott Austin Downtown are two complementary Marriott-brand hotels serving the heart of downtown Austin, Texas. The Courtyard Austin Downtown delivers the premium, guest-focused experience business and leisure travelers expect from one of Marriott's most trusted full-service brands — ideally positioned for corporate travelers, convention attendees, and visitors exploring Austin's vibrant city center. The Residence Inn Austin Downtown offers spacious, thoughtfully designed extended-stay accommodations for the modern long-term traveler — a compelling product for corporate relocation clients, project-based groups, and travelers who need the comforts of home in the middle of one of the country's most dynamic urban markets. Together, these two Marriott properties create a powerful dual-brand sales story in the competitive downtown Austin hotel market.

We are hiring a Dual Senior Sales Manager to drive group, corporate, and extended-stay revenue across Courtyard by Marriott Austin Downtown and Residence Inn by Marriott Austin Downtown. This is a senior hotel sales role in Austin, Texas for an experienced hospitality sales professional who combines strong market knowledge, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of closing complex, high-value hotel business across a dual-branded property environment. If you're a Senior Sales Manager, hotel sales manager, or group sales manager with dual-brand or extended-stay sales experience looking for senior hotel sales jobs in Austin, TX or dual-branded Marriott sales roles in the downtown Austin market, this is your next move with one of the country's most respected hotel management companies.

What You'll Do

  • Build and manage client relationships across Courtyard by Marriott Austin Downtown and Residence Inn by Marriott Austin Downtown — selling hotel services and managing the full booking process through Delphi or CI/TY sales systems across both properties
  • Analyze the downtown Austin hotel market — including competitor strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand dynamics — to develop and execute informed, data-driven dual-brand sales strategies
  • Ensure all booked business aligns with each property's revenue parameters — closing the highest-value group, corporate, and extended-stay opportunities based on current Austin market conditions
  • Leverage White Lodging marketing initiatives and Marriott brand programs across both downtown Austin properties to secure new business and consistently meet or exceed dual-brand sales targets
  • Develop accurate forecasts to support efficient hotel revenue planning and inform dynamic pricing strategies across the Courtyard and Residence Inn Austin Downtown portfolio
  • Collaborate with General Managers, Directors of Sales, and the broader sales team to identify revenue generation gaps and execute strategic action plans across both properties
  • Provide sales leadership across the dual-brand portfolio — inspiring teammates, modeling proactive sales behaviors, and holding the team accountable to goals, strategies, and activity metrics

What You'll Bring

  • 2 to 4 years of hotel sales experience — required; prior Senior Sales Manager, hotel sales manager, or group sales manager experience in an upscale, extended-stay, or dual-branded Marriott hotel environment strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills — with the ability to manage a dual-brand hotel sales portfolio across the competitive downtown Austin, Texas market
  • Mastery of both reactive and proactive hotel sales processes — with demonstrated experience managing complex business decisions, RFP responses, and contract negotiations in a multi-property or dual-brand hotel environment
  • Proficiency in Delphi, CI/TY, or comparable hotel sales and catering management systems — experience with Marriott brand sales platforms a strong plus
  • A 4-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field — or equivalent hotel sales experience

What You Can Look Forward To

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance — starting day 1
  • Life and short-term disability insurance
  • Paid parental leave
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Vacation and Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Complimentary and discounted hotel rooms
  • Growth opportunities across multiple hotel properties in your market
