Job description

Position Summary
Bennett Hospitality Management is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to support the sales and operations teams for Marriott-branded hotel properties in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. This position plays a key role in assisting with group sales, corporate accounts, event coordination, guest communication, and administrative support while delivering exceptional hospitality and maintaining Marriott brand standards.
The ideal candidate is organized, service-driven, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Support the Sales Managers and hotel leadership team with daily administrative and operational tasks
  • Prepare contracts, proposals, banquet event orders, group resumes, and correspondence for clients
  • Manage incoming sales inquiries, leads, and guest communications in a timely and professional manner
  • Coordinate group room blocks, reservations, and event details with hotel departments
  • Maintain accurate records in Marriott sales systems and CRM platforms
  • Assist with prospecting efforts, sales calls, site tours, and client follow-up
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, pace reports, and other tracking documents
  • Coordinate amenities, VIP arrivals, and special requests for guests and groups
  • Collaborate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance teams to ensure successful execution of group and event needs
  • Attend sales meetings, community networking events, and property tours as needed
  • Assist with social media promotions, marketing materials, and local outreach initiatives when applicable
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards and Bennett Hospitality service expectations
  • Provide excellent customer service while building strong relationships with clients, vendors, and guests

Qualifications
  • Previous hospitality, hotel, sales, or administrative experience preferred
  • Marriott experience strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with Marriott systems such as CI/TY, FOSSE, MARSHA, or related hotel software preferred
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands require
