A luxury resort property in Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking a Senior Group Sales Manager with a strong background in upscale hospitality. This role suits a results-driven professional with deep expertise in group sales, an established client network, and hands-on experience with Marriott systems and resort environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect, solicit, and close group business across corporate, association, and social market segments.
  • Manage and grow an existing client portfolio to drive repeat bookings and referrals.
  • Negotiate contracts and rates in line with revenue and yield management objectives.
  • Coordinate with Catering, Events, Reservations, and Revenue Management for seamless group execution.
  • Produce proposals, contracts, and account plans to a high professional standard.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and booking records within Marriott sales platforms.
  • Represent the property at trade shows, client events, and industry conferences.
  • Participate in sales meetings, forecasting sessions, and revenue strategy discussions.

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of group sales experience in hospitality, with demonstrated senior-level success.
  • Marriott hotel and systems experience is required.
  • Prior resort experience is required; luxury or upper-upscale brand background strongly preferred.
