Hotel Guest Service Representative - Courtyard Olympia

Job Description:

  • Greets and completes standard check-in procedures for arriving guests, using both manual and computerized methods, ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Courteously answers inquiries and accepts reservations, in person, through email and telephone calls, and assists guests with directions and area activities
  • Controls and records financial transactions
  • Maintains good customer relations by staying informed of all in-house and area functions in order to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses, both in person, via email, and on the phone
  • Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
  • Performs other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management
  • Contributes to and maintains communication sources such as shift pass down emails to enhance hotel communications and operations
  • Aids other associates and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and the hotel
  • Ensure safety by following the safety and sanitation procedures and reporting suspicious activity to management
