Job description

Description

Who We Are

White Lodging develops and operates a portfolio of award-winning premium hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants in some of the country's most dynamic cities. We know that the hospitality business, like life, is about how you make people feel. That's where you come in. You'll help bring the virtue of hospitality to life while we create an environment that allows you to be your best self and grow.

The Westin Austin at the Domain is a premier full-service Westin hotel located in the heart of the Domain — Austin, Texas's most vibrant mixed-use destination for luxury retail, dining, and entertainment in north Austin. Surrounded by major corporate campuses, tech industry headquarters, and a thriving business community, the Westin Austin at the Domain is ideally positioned to serve the business transient traveler market — making this one of the most strategically exciting hotel sales roles in the Austin, Texas market.

We are hiring a Business Transient Sales Manager to drive corporate travel revenue and build lasting client relationships at the Westin Austin at the Domain. This is a hotel sales role in Austin, TX for a motivated, results-driven hospitality sales professional who combines strong relationship-building skills with a proactive approach to new business development in the corporate and business transient segment. If you're a Sales Manager, Corporate Sales Manager, or business transient sales professional looking for hotel sales jobs in Austin, Texas or corporate travel sales roles at a premium Marriott-brand hotel, this is your opportunity to grow with one of the country's most respected hotel management companies.

What You'll Do

  • Solicit, confirm, and coordinate business transient and corporate travel accounts at the Westin Austin at the Domain — focusing on volume bookings, negotiated rate agreements, and corporate account management within defined revenue parameters
  • Respond promptly to incoming business transient leads and RFP requests — aligning corporate client preferences with hotel needs to maximize revenue and deliver exceptional client satisfaction
  • Proactively prospect and develop new corporate business opportunities in the Austin, Texas market — expanding the Westin Austin at the Domain's client base and business transient revenue streams through targeted outreach and sales blitzes
  • Collaborate with hotel leadership and the broader sales team to identify business transient revenue generation opportunities and execute strategic action plans to capture them
  • Foster strong, lasting relationships with corporate travel managers, executive assistants, and key account contacts — building the loyalty and repeat business that drives long-term hotel revenue performance
  • Record all sales activities, account updates, and pipeline progress accurately in hotel CRM and sales systems — maintaining accountability and transparency across all business transient accounts

What You'll Bring

  • At least 1 year of hotel sales, corporate travel sales, or hospitality sales experience — business transient or corporate account management experience strongly preferred
  • A 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field — or equivalent hotel sales work experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a natural talent for building trust and long-term client relationships in the Austin corporate travel market
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven — you identify business transient opportunities, pursue them with urgency, and convert prospects into loyal accounts
  • Ability to translate sales strategy into daily action and maintain composure and professionalism under pressure in a fast-paced hotel sales environment
  • Familiarity with hotel sales systems, CRM platforms, and business transient RFP tools — experience with Delphi, CI/TY, Marriott sales systems, or comparable platforms a strong plus

What You Can Look Forward To

  • Unlimited employee referral bonuses
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off (PTO) with rollover
  • Complimentary wellness tools
  • Leadership development & tuition reimbursement
  • Discounts on hotel rooms, dining, and travel
  • Growth opportunities across multiple hotel properties in your market
  • Full-time associates also receive:
    • Medical, dental, and vision insurance — starting day 1
    • Life and disability insurance
    • Paid parental leave
    • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
