Job description

LOCATION:       Travels between Safety Harbor and St. Petersburg as assigned (will also visit our Tampa office on occasion)

JOB TYPE:        Full-Time, Exempt 

REPORTS TO:   Marketing Manager

The Clinic Concierge is a field-based marketing support role, who establishes and nurtures business relationships and creates and distributes positive branding messages and collateral for promoting Joseph Spine Institute’s surgical services to bring new patients to the Practice.  Territory covers Pinellas county as assigned. Covers Hillsborough county (Tampa) on periodic occasions as needed and works Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm plus attends after-hours events.  This is a field-based, mid-level support role and is not a marketing management, digital marketing, or executive level position.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborates with internal teams to develop and deliver branding projects.
  • Identifies target clients and executes strategies to negotiate and promote business development.
  • Collects and compiles patient feedback in an easily reviewed and understood format for review by Practice management and leadership.
  • Develops and executes innovative strategies to track, review, and modify performance of marketing initiatives.
  • Forecasts and analyzes healthcare trends and marketing strategies; prepares and presents weekly reports to Physicians demonstrating tangible campaign results and makes recommendations based on analysis. 
  • Acquires and distributes materials related to sales and branding in assigned territories. 
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with existing and potential clients and all JSI staff.
  • Attends after-hours marketing events as required.
  • Reports to office daily for car pickup/return and holds weekly planning meetings with the Marketing Manager and CEO while traveling locally (Hillsborough and Pinellas counties) via company owned vehicle to develop business and promote our brand.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing, Finance, Business, or related field with a healthcare focus preferred.
  • Two to three (2-3) years of related support experience in medical marketing, medical promotional sales, medical customer service, or related medical field, preferably with an orthopaedic practice (spine and neck)
  • Possesses and retains a valid Florida Driver’s License, sufficient auto insurance to meet our insurer’s requirements, and a driving record in good standing while utilizing company vehicle for business.
  • Able to safely travel between St. Petersburg, Safety Harbor, and occasionally our other office locations in company vehicle as business needs dictate
  • Exceptional interpersonal, collaborative, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent sales, customer service, branding, presentation, organizational, and negotiating skills.
  • Exudes good judgment, tactfulness, reliability, integrity, and always represents the Practice cordially and professionally.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team under management's supervision.
  • Enjoys being on the road, interacting with people, and representing the Practice in the community.
  • Expert with Microsoft Office Suite, social media, and website analytics tools.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds at times
  • Able to spend prolonged periods sitting in a car safely driving, at a desk while working on a computer, standing, and walking
