Job Overview
The Associate, Stores & Corporate Marketing Strategy will be instrumental in developing and executing marketing campaigns that enhance the Macy's brand experience across all stores. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of consumer behavior and a passion for creating compelling brand stories. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute localized marketing strategies that drive sales, build customer loyalty, and achieve Macy's overall business goals.
What You Will Do
  • Develop and execute Marketing Plans to support Macy's Stores priorities that align with seasonal sales goals and brand objectives.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with store partners across the country, understanding their business needs and collaborate to develop geographically relevant messaging ensuring brand stories resonate with consumers and drive business growth.
  • Partner with customer team on the market and competitor landscape for shifts, trends, and insights that inform marketing plans.
  • Contribute to tourism initiatives providing research and outreach along with execution to deliver traffic supporting local and international tourism.
  • Lead the planning and execution of marketing tactical support, including:
    • Collaborate with store partners on all information needed for creative style-outs and presentations including messaging priorities.
    • Effectively communicate marketing plan details and deliverables to cross functional teams, ensuring seamless integration across digital and in-store channels for specific product priorities.
    • Review all marketing assets to guarantee alignment with campaign objectives, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Develop clear and compelling creative briefs that leverage customer data, insights, and competitor analysis to guide content and messaging.
  • Support marketing a variety of instore initiatives including seasonal (ie Holiday), Backstage and events
  • Act as integrated marketing to develop cohesive plans representing paid and owned channels

Skills You Will Need
Customer Champion: Ability to deeply understand consumer behavior, preferences, and trends to build meaningful connections with them.
Marketing Planning and Execution: Competence in developing marketing plans aligned with sales targets and business goals and executing them effectively.
Multi-Channel Marketing: Experience in deploying marketing strategies across various channels, with a focus on experiential, digital, social media, and content marketing.
Experiential Marketing: Capability to create buzz in the market through experiential activations, including events, pop-ups, and immersive brand experiences.
Creativity with Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to balance creativity with insights and data analysis to inform marketing strategies and decisions effectively.
End-to-End Consumer Journey: Skill in continuously evolving the consumer journey, ensuring engagement with the right audience through appropriate channels at the right times.
Collaboration and Coordination: Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams such as merchants and fashion offices to synchronize product priorities and messaging.
Industry Expertise: Understanding of the retail marketing space, including the ability to bring different brands to life for respective shoppers.
