Job description

The Director of Marketing Strategy for Wealth Marketing is responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies that drive client acquisition, engagement, and retention across TIAA's wealth management products and services. This individual serves as a collaborative thought partner to wealth marketing team leaders, helping to translate strategic direction into audience-centric marketing programs that resonate with TIAA participants and institutional partners.


Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support and help execute the overall marketing strategy for Wealth Marketing, contributing to measurable business results at the department level

  • Coordinate across marketing functional areas - including brand, acquisition, digital, content, events, and analytics - to help put plans into action and track progress against defined goals

  • Contribute to the development of the audience strategy for Wealth Marketing by working collaboratively with business, distribution, product, analytics, and research partners

  • Support the build-out of engagement programs that reflect the Wealth brand promise, audience strategy, and go-to-market approach

  • Collaborate with marketing and business partners to help define and document client journeys spanning acquisition, engagement, and retention

  • Partner with marketing leaders and analytics to help define departmental KPIs and measurement frameworks aligned to business goals

  • Support annual planning processes, including maintaining the campaign calendar and tracking budget utilization against priorities

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with marketing leaders, business stakeholders, and distribution partners to facilitate coordination and execution

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
