Job description

The Product Marketing team is a strategic function within the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management marketing organization, based in New York, that focuses on bringing advice-led wealth management products to market and ensuring its success. It involves understanding the target market, defining the products' value proposition, and developing strategies to promote and sell the products effectively across all stages of the marketing funnel. 

This Product Marketing team focuses specifically on our advice-led businesses, including J.P. Morgan Private Client Advisor.  Private Client Advisor is a dedicated advisor, giving clients 1:1 access to advice, custom investment portfolios and financial planning.

In this role you'll be a marketing champion for advice, working closely with product and marketing partners to understand the business roadmap, develop positioning and drive go-to-market strategies from acquisition through engagement. You will contribute to large workstreams, working closely with stakeholders across marketing, events, content, finance, product, and analytics, among many others. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in the creation, refinement and go-to market strategies for advice 

  • Engage in the comprehensive redesign of marketing strategies, offering support throughout the entire consumer lifecycle, driving strategies that support key business goals. 

  • Contribute to the research roadmap by conducting competitive intelligence, administering advisor surveys, and facilitating rapid research testing 

  • Drive new field enablement strategies and materials for advisors in partnership with communications, marketing, and practice management teams

  • Understand the customer buying journey and areas of opportunity to strengthen the sales funnel

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 

  • 7+ years of marketing experience, with expertise in engagement and lifecycle marketing in credit card or Cobrand marketing.

  • Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams in a matrix management organization.
  • Proven ability to develop and launch new concepts to drive customer engagement in innovative ways, while demonstrating a customer-centric mindset. 
  • Excellent verbal / written communication skills and use of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Bachelor's degree, Masters Preferred
  • Ability to analyze opportunities/problems and recommend solutions
  • Results-focused and highly organized with attention to detail and a bias towards action.
