Job description

) Summary:
Identifies, manages, and develops lead sources for facilities within an assigned territory. Provides marketing leadership and support to the facilities to enable them to meet business objectives, increase market awareness, implement strategies, create sales and marketing plans, build, expand, and achieve admissions and census goals. Provides customers with facility related information through personal visits, assessments, presentations, facility events/programs, and follow ups as necessary.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Make daily outside call to hospital discharge planners, physicians, and other medical groups, insurance, and case management companies, legal and financial professionals, senior organizations, appropriate special interest groups, and other community contacts.
  • Assist with development and execution of a target referral development plan.
  • Extensive time spent outside the facilities in marketing and sales activity generating referrals and admissions.
  • Work with Admission Coordinators to alert department heads and building staff of projected admissions and to be made aware of bed availability
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Education:
  • Associates and/or Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Sales, or Marketing. Long term care field preferred.
  • Two years equivalent experience in sales/marketing position or Admissions Coordinator position in lieu of degree.

Experience:
Two years of experience in a position requiring sales/marketing or customer service.
