Position Summary: JMT is seeking a highly organized, diligent, enthusiastic, and proactive Marketing Assistant to support our regional marketing team with proposal development, document production, and day-to-day pursuit activities. The selected candidate will be highly punctual, able to learn technical terminology, communicate in a concise, collaborative manner, and manage multiple deadlines.
This is not a digital marketing position. This role does not include social media management, content creation, graphic design, website management, SEO, digital advertising, or digital marketing campaigns. The primary focus of this position is proposal support, document formatting, administrative marketing support, and coordination of business development materials.

Compensation for this position is $26.00 - $32.00, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. If so, the actual salary range may vary from the estimate provided.

Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Daily review of client procurement websites and related systems to identify proposal opportunities.
  • Daily data entry of leads, opportunities, and other information into the Client Relationship Management (CRM) database.
  • Data entry and oversight of Open Asset (digital asset management database).
  • Maintain marketing materials, including resumes, boilerplate information, project descriptions, photographs, and subcontractor information.
  • Assist with drafting, formatting, editing, assembling, and packaging proposals and qualifications statements using Microsoft Word and Adobe InDesign.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support for proposal and pursuit activities within the marketing department.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
