This hands-on director-level role will serve as the operational leader of Marketing and a strategic partner to the Chief Marketing Officer. The Director will translate firm growth priorities into integrated programs, scalable processes, actionable reporting, and a 12-month marketing roadmap. The role will strengthen the connection between marketing activity, client engagement, pipeline, and revenue while creating the operating discipline required to support additional practices, industries, markets, strategic accounts, and acquisitions.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing growth strategy, leading complex initiatives, optimizing HubSpot, interpreting performance data, improving workflows, and coaching team members. This leader will help Centri scale marketing impact without increasing headcount at the same pace as revenue.

Responsibilities:

Build the Growth Marketing Engine
  • Create and lead an integrated growth marketing strategy aligned to Centri's path to $150 million in revenue by 2030 and beyond.
  • Translate firm, practice, industry, geographic, and strategic account priorities into campaigns and market-facing programs.
  • Build repeatable demand generation and nurture programs that create awareness, qualified engagement, pipeline, and measurable follow-up opportunities.
  • Partner with the CMO, Growth leaders, service line leaders, and subject matter experts to align marketing priorities with business needs.
  • Develop a rolling 12-month roadmap that clarifies priorities, capacity, expected outcomes, and when additional resources may be required.
Own Marketing Operations & HubSpot Strategy
  • Lead the marketing strategy for HubSpot, including campaign architecture, audience segmentation, marketing automation, marketing lifecycle stages, inbound lead management, attribution, and reporting.
  • Establish scalable processes, governance standards, documentation, intake, prioritization, and quality controls across Marketing.
  • Partner with Growth and operational stakeholders to improve data quality, handoffs, adoption, and visibility across the client and prospect lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repeatable work, improve workflows, and expand capacity through technology and AI.
  • Guide the Marketing Operations Coordinator in campaign execution, database maintenance, reporting, project tracking, and process adherence.
Connect Marketing to Pipeline & Performance
  • Define KPIs and measurement frameworks for campaigns, digital programs, content, events, and major strategic initiatives.
  • Develop dashboards and executive reporting that show engagement, conversion, pipeline influence, return on investment, and areas for optimization.
  • Turn performance data into clear recommendations for audiences, messaging, channels, spend, and follow-up.
  • Create a test-and-learn culture that improves marketing effectiveness, efficiency, and accountability over time.
Lead Digital, Technology & AI Enablement
  • Oversee digital marketing strategy across email, website, paid media, search, social, webinars, events, and related channels.
  • Evaluate and optimize the marketing technology ecosystem to support scale, integration, reporting, and user adoption.
  • Use AI to accelerate research, segmentation, campaign development, personalization, analysis, reporting, and operational workflows.
  • Balance technology-enabled efficiency with human judgment, data quality, client experience, and Centri brand standards.
Lead the Centri Capital Conference as a Growth Platform
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day marketing leader for the Centri Capital Conference, working with the CMO, who is the executive sponsor and strategic owner.
  • Lead the conference operating plan, budget, milestone management, marketing strategy, sponsorship growth, attendee acquisition, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Guide strategies for sponsors, investors, presenting companies, speakers, strategic partners, and priority audiences.
  • Oversee conference promotion, registration strategy, HubSpot campaigns, reporting, sponsor fulfillment, and post-event engagement.
  • Measure the conference's contribution to brand visibility, relationships, pipeline, and financial performance.
  • Help evolve the conference from an annual event into a broader year-round Centri Capital Community and growth platform.
Support M&A, Expansion & Strategic Initiatives
  • Build repeatable marketing playbooks for acquisitions, brand transitions, contact migration, communications, go-to-market launches, and integration activities.
  • Support entry into new markets, expansion of service offerings, and activation of new teams and capabilities.
  • Lead complex cross-functional marketing initiatives that require clear ownership, timelines, stakeholder alignment, and measurable outcomes.
  • Use internal capacity, external agencies, freelance resources, and specialized partners thoughtfully to scale execution.
Lead & Develop the Marketing Team
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and development for the Marketing Operations Coordinator and operational direction across the broader marketing team.
  • Create clear roles, expectations, workflows, development goals, and capability milestones for team members.
  • Build bench strength by developing junior talent into increasingly sophisticated roles in marketing operations, analytics, automation, and AI.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity, collaboration, continuous improvement, and high-quality execution.

Qualifications:

  • Eight plus years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including meaningful responsibility in growth marketing, demand generation, marketing operations, revenue marketing, digital marketing, or related disciplines.
  • Three plus years of experience leading people, major programs, or complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to build integrated campaigns that support engagement, opportunity creation, pipeline, and revenue growth.
  • Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM and marketing automation platform, including segmentation, workflows, campaign structure, lifecycle management, dashboards, reporting, and data quality.
  • Experience developing marketing attribution, performance measurement, executive dashboards, and actionable recommendations.
  • Experience leading large-scale events, sponsorship programs, conferences, or other complex growth initiatives strongly preferred.
  • Experience using AI and marketing technology to improve productivity, personalization, analysis, campaign execution, or customer engagement.
  • Professional services, accounting, advisory, consulting, or another relationship-driven B2B environment preferred.
  • Strong executive communication, project leadership, analytical, financial management, collaboration, and change management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
