Job description

Marketing Manager / Marketing Director

Level based on experience and potential
Location: Remote, with some potential travel required
NOTE: The location is listed as NY as candidates in EST are preferred and we were unable to remove the location. We are open to candidates anywhere in the US.

Klimon is looking for an exceptional marketer to help grow our award winning dairy-free brand.

We are open to an established Marketing Director, but we are equally excited to identify emerging talent ready for a larger opportunity. We care more about creativity, ambition, judgment, and the ability to execute than a particular title or traditional career path.

Working directly with the founders, you will help shape Klimon’s marketing strategy and lead the execution that brings it to life. You will have a seat at the table, ownership of meaningful initiatives, and the opportunity to influence the direction of a rapidly growing consumer brand.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can think strategically, move quickly, and turn ideas into action.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner directly with the founders to develop and execute Klimon’s marketing strategy.
  • Lead day-to-day marketing across digital, social media, retail, events, partnerships, and product launches.
  • Create and publish engaging social content, including representing the brand on camera when appropriate.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with retail partners, ensuring each account has the marketing support needed to succeed.
  • Participate in meetings with licensing and strategic partners, helping turn opportunities into impactful consumer-facing initiatives.
  • Travel to trade shows, retailer meetings, product launches, activations, and other brand events.
  • Coordinate with agencies, photographers, designers, influencers, creators, and other creative partners.
  • Manage marketing calendars, campaigns, budgets, timelines, and project execution.
  • Track campaign performance, analyze results, and use insights to improve future initiatives.
  • Continually identify new ways to build brand awareness, deepen consumer engagement, and support sales growth.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • A strategic thinker who is equally comfortable managing the details and doing the work.
  • Strong creative instincts and a clear understanding of what makes a consumer brand relevant.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with social media, digital marketing, and content creation.
  • Comfort creating content and appearing on camera when needed.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
  • A collaborative mindset, sound judgment, and the confidence to take ownership.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the year for trade shows, retailer meetings, product launches, and other company events.

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following areas is valuable, but we are more interested in overall talent and potential than checking every box:

  • Consumer products, retail, CPG, food and beverage, or licensed brands
  • Retail and account marketing
  • Trade shows, activations, and event marketing
  • Influencer and creator partnerships
  • Product launches and strategic collaborations
  • Email marketing, digital advertising, and marketing analytics

Why Klimon?

At Klimon, you will work directly with the founders and play a meaningful role in shaping the future of the brand. You will have real ownership, visibility into key business decisions, and the opportunity to make an immediate impact across every aspect of marketing, from strategy and product launches to retail partnerships, licensing collaborations, and brand storytelling.

We are looking for someone ambitious, resourceful, and ready to do the best work of their career. You may already be leading marketing for a growing consumer brand, or you may be an unusually talented marketer ready to step into substantially greater responsibility. Either way, we are more interested in what you can build than the title currently on your résumé.

The position will be structured at the Marketing Manager or Marketing Director level based on experience, with meaningful leadership opportunities and a clear path toward expanded responsibility as Klimon grows.

If you are excited by the opportunity to build something meaningful, create memorable consumer experiences, and help shape the future of a growing brand, we would love to hear from you.
