Essential Job Duties

The Sr. Analyst, Marketing Business Intelligence plays a key role in delivering scalable reporting, performance visibility, and actionable business insights across BambooHR's marketing organization. This role partners closely with Marketing, Marketing Ops, Business Intelligence, and agency teams to maintain trusted marketing KPIs, support strategic decision making, and improve self-service analytics capabilities across the business.

A typical day in this role may include managing executive and operational dashboards, supporting ad hoc business insight requests, maintaining marketing scorecards and KPI frameworks, and helping teams leverage self-service analytics and AI-enabled reporting tools. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining analytical problem-solving, business partnership, and scalable reporting solutions to improve decision making and operational efficiency.

You will:

  • Own and maintain executive, operational, and channel-level marketing dashboards and reporting solutions across the organization.
  • Manage marketing KPI frameworks, scorecards, targets, and performance tracking to ensure consistent business visibility and alignment.
  • Deliver actionable insights and analysis that support marketing strategy, campaign performance, and business decision making.
  • Serve as a central analytics partner for ad hoc business insight requests across marketing teams and leadership stakeholders.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence and Marketing Ops teams to improve data quality, reporting governance, and scalable self-service analytics capabilities.
  • Support adoption and enablement of AI-driven analytics and self-service reporting tools across the marketing organization, including platforms such as Databricks Genie or similar technologies.
  • Help support scalable approaches to self-service analytics, insight generation, and data accessibility across marketing teams.
  • Monitor performance trends, risks, and opportunities across marketing channels and communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support strategic planning, quarterly business reviews, and executive discussions through reporting and business insights.

What You Need to Get the Job Done:

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, reporting analytics, or related analytical roles.
  • Strong experience building and maintaining dashboards, scorecards, KPI frameworks, and scalable reporting solutions using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Experience delivering business insights and analytical recommendations that support decision making and performance optimization.
  • Strong understanding of marketing performance metrics, funnel reporting, and business measurement frameworks.
  • Experience supporting self-service analytics capabilities and enabling non-technical stakeholders to leverage data effectively.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics tools, self-service insight platforms, or emerging reporting technologies preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience partnering cross-functionally across business teams.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI/reporting platforms with strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and reporting accuracy.
