The Solution Marketing Manager will have the overall responsibility for developing and executing overall solutions GTM plans for their assigned area - working closely with the Global Solutions and Innovation teams, including Solutions Portfolio Management, Vertical Market Managers, field sales and field marketing solutions engineering.

  • Validate Markets and Customer needs "market in"
  • Develop, manage and own solutions and vertical GTM plans
  • Define real-world market segmentation models, and develop optimized Drive solutions marketing efforts including launches, content creation, enablement, communications and demand generation for the key solutions, verticals offerings and partner integrations/certifications
  • Develop creative and diverse customer facing marketing collateral including info graphics, blogs, videos, demos, white papers, website content, case studies, training materials, and solution presentations for both business and technical audiences
Qualifications
  • BA in Marketing and/or Computer science or an MBA
  • Over five (5) years of marketing experience in high tech, with over three (3)years of solutions marketing, vertical marketing and/or alliances marketing responsibility within financial
  • Strong knowledge of storage systems, flash arrays, Databases, Hadoop/Big Data and new application workloads and the surrounding ecosystem. Marketing experience targeting major industry verticals highly preferred
  • Proven ability to build support and manage resources across multiple cross functional teams (e.g. Solutions, Product Management and Marketing, Engineering, PR, demand generation) to execute high impact creative marketing
  • Should have strong cross-functional skills, ability to think and work strategically, and also execute as an individual contributor
