The Role at a glance:

Summary
The Catering & Food Service Marketing Manager for Constellation at Carnegie Hall supports Constellation Culinary Group (CCG) at Carnegie Hall, working in close collaboration with Carnegie Hall's Marketing and Events teams.

This role serves as a key partner across sales and operations, leading marketing strategy for private events, catering, cafe, and retail dining. The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing initiatives that enhance the guest experience, strengthen brand presence, and drive revenue.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and detail-oriented marketer with strong project management skills, capable of evaluating performance, optimizing campaigns, and delivering thoughtful recommendations to improve efficiency and impact. This position operates at the intersection of hospitality and culture, supporting the exclusive food service operator within one of the world's most iconic institutions.

What you'll be doing:

Strategic Marketing & Collaboration

    • Serve as the primary marketing liaison between CCG marketing, operations teams, and Carnegie Hall stakeholders, ensuring alignment, approvals, and timely execution of all deliverables
    • Develop and manage comprehensive marketing plans to increase visibility, engagement, and revenue, in collaboration with CCG marketing leadership and Carnegie Hall's marketing team
    • Lead recurring marketing meetings, providing updates, insights, and follow-up actions across internal and client teams
    • Manage the Carnegie Hall programming and dining & events calendar (inclusive of marketing and promotional efforts) to support strategic planning and campaign timing
    • Track marketing expenses against budget and report on performance monthly
    • Evaluate and present digital and print advertising opportunities, providing monthly report and recommendations based on performance and ROI
    • Coordinate with photographers and internal teams to produce high-quality menu and event imagery
    • Partner with PR teams to support media outreach, partnerships, and brand storytelling opportunities
    • Maintain inventory of Constellation and Carnegie Hall collateral and swag
    • Ensure all marketing materials and touchpoints align with Carnegie Hall brand and editorial

standards, following provided style guides

    • Represent marketing at brand activations, promotional events, and key initiatives (including occasional evening or weekend support)
    • Develop shared marketing calendar and budget tracker; ensure this is up-to-date and accessible to all stakeholders in real time

Cafe & Retail Dining

    • Develop and manage social media strategy, content, and posting schedule for the Weill Cafe in collaboration with Carnegie Hall's social team
    • Collaborate with Carnegie Hall stakeholders to develop, secure approval for, and execute revenue-driving programming enhancements and activations
    • Audit and refresh menus, signage, and guest-facing materials to ensure consistency and accuracy
    • Maintain and update cafe website content to reflect current offerings and programming
    • Oversee email marketing initiatives targeting loyalty and repeat guests
    • Partner with vendors and operations to develop promotions, seasonal campaigns, and in-venue experiences

Special Events & Catering

    • Support positioning of Carnegie Hall as a premier event destination through targeted marketing strategies and outreach
    • Build and maintain relationships with clients, planners, and key industry partners
    • Support sales team at promotional events
    • Analyze performance data and key metrics across advertising platforms, listings and reservation/POS systems to inform strategy
    • Audit and update event marketing collateral, including website, brochures, and sales tools,

ensuring consistency and relevance

    • Manage quarterly refresh of online listings and visual assets

Must-haves:

3-5 years of relevant marketing experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong foundation in marketing strategy and execution; hospitality, food service, or retail experience preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and client-facing communication skills
